The collection contains a note to Gurney on whether "Pygmalion" will go to America, 1914 June 11. There is also a portion of an article on Shaw and the production of "Pygmalion" by Mrs. Gurney with corrections by Shaw. The article contains a letter to Gurney from Shaw, 1914 March 6, on Gurney's role as "Doolittle" in which Shaw states that he wrote the part for Gurney. The collection also contains two letters from W.E. Redway for the firm of Frank Hollings to Ashton L. Carr pertaining to the sale of the Edmund Gurney "Pygmalion" collection, together with a draft of a catalog notice for the collection, 1928.
